Now, the biggest part of the process is to get the SATA ACHI drivers loaded so you can change that BIOS setting back to ACHI for optimal drive performance. You are going to be missing several others. Then install your graphics, audio and network drivers. When you are done, first install the chipset driver and reboot. Save the setting there and again when you exit. If so, the easy fix is to go into your BIOS, in the storage options menu, change the SATA emulation setting from ACHI to IDE. What seems to be your problem? Is it that you insert the XP disk and when it gets ready to load Windows, it blue screens or crashes? Downgrading one of these to XP is relatively easy.
